SHOSEIAN TEAHOUSE/ WHISPERING PINE TEAHOUSE AND GARDENS
Designed by architect Hayahiko Takase and named Shoseian, this teahouse was built in 1974 to honor the Sister City bond of Glendale, California and Higashiōsaka, Japan. Situated in Glendale’s Brand Park, it is one of the few traditional Japanese Teahouses open to the public in the United States.
