Left to right; Mr. Okamuro, Dennis Okamuro (Mrs. Hara's little nephew), Yoshitaro Okamuro (Yam's father), Mrs. Mary Hara (Yam's sister) and her husband, Kas Nara. Yam and his sister both attended Glendale High School. All were incarcerated at Manzanar War Relocation Center.

After their release, Mr. Okamuro set up this car repair business in his Glendale backyard.
